Year 9s Conquer Mt Cordeaux
Tuesday, October 29, 2019
In late July the Year 9 class completed their Outdoor Education sessions for this year with a hike up Mount Cordeaux, where they enjoyed the wonderful views toward the east from Mount Cordeaux lookout while having morning tea. After finishing their morning tea the hikers walked for a further hour out to Bare Rock. Bare Rock provides wonderful views to the north (Goomburra) and to the northeast (Brisbane and Ipswich). Everyone who participated in the hike enjoyed the walk through the rainforest and the unique vegetation that grows around the top of Mount Cordeaux.
