Introduction and Key Facts About the School

THE SCHOOL OF TOTAL EDUCATION is a family-oriented independent school with 150 students attending classes from Preparatory to Year 12. Based in the Australian state of Queensland, the School campus is located 160 kilometres southwest of Brisbane in the rural city of Warwick (population approx 10,000). The School is deliberately of modest size, which fosters a friendly atmosphere, and has a ratio of twelve students per teacher.

The School offers an innovative educational program in a learning environment which enables parents, teachers and students to interact freely and to develop their personal character and attitudes in the context of a community seeking peace and understanding. We cater to families who believe that a system of education should encompass the values which are fundamental to emotional maturity and character development — hence the School motto: “In pursuit of Knowledge, Excellence and Service”.

Our School is founded on timeless educational principles and is a unique working example. It also demonstrates what is achievable when idealism is wedded with goodwill and thus provides a practical model of “future education”. This could be emulated wherever teachers and parents are willing to co-operate and develop themselves for the benefit of their children.

We welcome all enquiries, especially from prospective parents, thoughtful educators and teacher-training institutions.
