Frequently asked questions

Funding

School Fees

The annual tuition fees for primary and secondary students are maintained at a relatively modest level to ensure the school is accessible to the most families. Currently the fees reduce with the number of the children in one family enrolled at the school at any one time. There is no charge for the fourth or subsequent child enrolled concurrently.

There are also fees for hot lunches (served twice weekly) and stationery and textbooks as all textbooks and stationery are provided by the School.

Business Support

Parents’ fees account for a relatively small percentage of the cost of running the School. Commonwealth and State Grants currently account for most of the School’s income.

The remaining part of school income is provided by the Total Health and Education Foundation though investments in a number of businesses. Although business support for the School is important to its continuation, the governance of the School is completely independent of this support. There are no strings attached to the funding received from these sources. The supporting businesses receive satisfaction in seeing students graduate from the School as confident people who are able to contribute something positive to the community.
