PREP YEAR IN 2007

A Gentle Introduction to School Life: At The School of Total Education we understand the enormous transition involved when a child takes their first steps into school life. The Prep program allows for a gentle introduction to routines, socialisation, group play and the building blocks for academic development. SOTE’s teachers have an approach which provides children with the emotional security and the care needed in beginning their school experience. The 1:12 teacher student ratio makes it possible for the teacher to meet the children’s individual needs. Prep Year in 2007 will be introduced for children born from Jan 2001 to June 2001. Prep 2008 will be for children born from July 2002 to June 2003. These dates are set by the Queensland Government.

ANNUAL REPORTS

Commonwealth and State Governments require all state and non-state schools to publish an Annual Report on a variety of dimensions of school performance for the previous year. These documents appear below and may be downloaded. These reports represent a facts and figures approach without much acknowledgement of what The School of Total Education would see as the more important dimensions of school achievement and should be read with that in mind.
